My character for the OC Tournament, Tower of Revival that *Bwarchtor is running.

Here is the profile of my new OC.

Name: Lakanto Durakt

Gender: Male

Age: 26

Race: Mix of timber and red wolf

Height: 6'2

Weapons: Guardian Halberd: Stainless steel blades, can glow brightly and illuminate like a torch. He found it whilst exploring an old, forgotten tomb during his travels when he came of age.

Also, if the wielder is highly focused and well trained in the weapon's use, can deliver a strong blast of magical energy that can cast the target to the ground and cause great pain.

Silver Wazakashi (Katana like short sword, not really visible in the picture) Lakanto's oldest weapon started life as a common iron shortsword, that his parents gave him to practice with when he was 10.

He broke it during his odyssey into the Orient Regions, as he learned their ways of smithing, Lakanto fashioned a silver katana style blade for his beloved old training blade that serves as a capabable secondary weapon.

Personality: Fairly sociable and very reliable, but can be cautious at first and can have trouble keeping his temper level when dealing with pranksters, the unlawful and those who are prejudiced towards his kind.

History and background:

Born into a family of smiths and millitary folk, Lakanto enjoyed a stable upbringing with both parents and his brother and sister, learning many valuable skills; working in the forge and sparring with polearms and blades.

He and his siblings also did some schooling at a local monastery and learned to love reading and for both study and entertainment.

When he came of age at 18, Lakanto already knew what he wanted to do; travel to the Orient and learn their exotic ways of the smith and legendary combat doctrines.

After a long, adventure filled journey, Lakanto reached the border Orient province of Jaswarlo. He soon signed up for the border guard regiment and honed his grasp of the local language, Lakanto saw his fair share of action, enforcing the law, fighting bandits, slavers and even daemons.

Lakanto dedicated plenty of his free time to helping the war-smiths maintain and craft equipment, picking up new techniques and styles. When not at the forge, he enjoys some drinks at a tavern and relaxing with his friends, or reading a good book.
